About the Role

Consbec is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious AZ/DZ Driver to support our drilling and blasting operations at various locations across Ontario.

The successful candidate will operate company vehicles, transport products and materials, and assist with loading, unloading and physical work at job sites. This position requires experience driving manual transmissions and a willingness to travel between work locations. Training will be provided for job-specific duties.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate company vehicles appropriate to your license class.
- Transport and deliver products, materials and equipment to designated work locations.
- Assist with loading and unloading, ensuring loads are properly secured.
- Complete vehicle inspections and report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, delivery paperwork and driving logs, as required.
- Assist with physical labor and other assigned duties at job sites.
- Follow company procedures, site requirements and safe work practices.
- Communicate with supervisors and site personnel to coordinate deliveries and daily tasks.
- Keep vehicles and work areas clean and organized.

Qualifications

- Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license, appropriate to the vehicle being operated.
- Ability to drive vehicles with manual transmissions.




- Clean driver’s abstract and satisfactory criminal record check (CPIC).
- Willingness to travel to various locations across Ontario.
- Ability to perform the physical duties of the role, including loading and unloading products.
- Reliable, dependable and trustworthy, with a robust commitment to safety.

Experience Considered an Asset

· Pumper truck experience.

· Previous commercial driving experience in construction, mining or a related industry.

· Experience loading, unloading and securing products or equipment.

· Valid FAST card.

· Valid Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL).

· Surface Common Core training.

Consbec is willing to train the successful candidate. Pumper truck experience, a FAST card, a PAL and Surface Common Core training are assets but are not required.
