We are seeking EXPERIENCED Industrial sewing machine operators, cutting room operators and upholsterers as our company continues to grow.

Your responsibilities include:

Industrial Sewing Machine Operator

· Operate stand-up and sit-down industrial sewing machines to assemble textile-related products

· Thread machines, change needles and adjust tension, as required

· Perform sewing functions precisely and efficiently as part of a team

· Operate sewing equipment that may include single-needle, double-needle, serging and binding machines, based on skill

Cutting Room Operator

· Follow cutting-room safety rules and safely operate spreading, manual-cutting and automated cutting equipment, as trained

· Read work orders, labels, patterns, markers and cutting instructions; identify material requirements and document material usage

· Spread and lay materials in the correct orientation, identify flaws and support efficient material yield

· Inspect, label and pack cut parts, and perform basic preventive maintenance and workstation clean-up

Upholsterer

· Perform upholstery operations, including installing fabric or vinyl covers, bottoms and related components

· Use upholstery tools and aids to fit covers, align seams, set pull-tab tension and complete repeatable assemblies

· Inspect upholstered products for quality, prevent damage to covers, zippers and seams,



and complete minor repairs as trained

Responsibilities for All Three Positions

· Carry, push and pull materials and use and understand basic measurements

· Follow all operating procedures, supervisor instructions, quality requirements and safety rules, and maintain an organized workstation using 6S practices

The ideal candidate will have the following:

· Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task

· Demonstrates strong attention to detail

· Able to remember different operations

· A strong work ethic with excellent attendance and attitude

Hours of Work:

· Day Shift: Mondays to Fridays from 6:30am to 3:00pm

· Afternoon Shift: Monday to Fridays from 3:30pm to 12:00am

Salary Range: The starting salary is $18.07 increasing based on skill level progression, experience, and qualifications.
