Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cheese Production and Machine Operator with a background in mechanics or electrical work to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Duties

- Operate and monitor cheese production machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment using mechanical or electrical knowledge
- Assist with ingredient handling, mixing, and cheese maturation processes in accordance with food safety protocols
- Conduct sanitation procedures to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the production area
- Package finished cheese products accurately using appropriate packaging materials and techniques
- Utilize forklift trucks for moving raw materials, finished goods,



and supplies within the facility
- Follow all safety guidelines related to food processing, machinery operation, and sanitation practices

Skills

- Robust mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair production equipment effectively
- Electrical skills for diagnosing issues with electrical components of machinery
- Experience in the food industry or food processing environment is good but not required.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes specific to dairy or cheese production is a plus but not required.
- Ability to operate packaging equipment efficiently and accurately
- Familiarity with forklift operation and safety protocols is good but not rquired.
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients, adjusting machine settings, and recording data accurately
- Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation procedures necessary for maintaining product quality will trained on site and not rquired.

Pay: $27.00 per hour
