OAKBERRY Uptown is looking for a dependable, professional and energetic team member to join our Victoria team.

This is a permanent, higher-hour position averaging approximately 28–36 hours per week. We are looking for someone who wants consistent, longer-term work, takes ownership of their shifts, and can be relied on during both regular and busy service periods.

Previous experience in food service, cafés, restaurants, retail or customer service is preferred.

What You’ll Do

- Prepare OAKBERRY açaí bowls, smoothies, matcha drinks and other menu items according to recipe and presentation standards
- Provide friendly, efficient and professional customer service
- Take customer orders and process payments using Square POS
- Prepare ingredients, toppings and other products for service
- Restock ingredients, packaging and supplies throughout the day
- Maintain a clean, organized and food-safe work setting
- Complete opening and closing responsibilities when scheduled
- Receive and organize deliveries and rotate inventory appropriately
- Manage in-store and delivery-app orders efficiently during busy periods
- Follow food-safety, sanitation, cash-handling and operational procedures
- Work independently when required while also supporting the rest of the team
- Complete cleaning, dishwashing, garbage and general store-maintenance duties as part of regular operations

Availability

Regular weekend availability is an important requirement for this position.

Saturday and Sunday are among our busiest days, so applicants seeking 28–36 hours per week should be available to work regular Saturday and Sunday shifts, in addition to weekdays and occasional evenings as scheduled.

Specific days off can still vary from week to week based on scheduling needs.

Compensation

- $19.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience and fit

There may occasionally be opportunities to pick up shifts at our Fort Street location depending on staffing needs, but this position is primarily based at Uptown.

Experience

Previous food-service, café, restaurant, retail or customer-service experience is preferred but not required.
