Our client is seeking qualified and impartial Sports Referees and Umpires to officiate various sporting events across the Kimberley region.
This role is crucial for ensuring fair play, upholding the rules of the game, and maintaining the integrity of competitions.
You will be responsible for making accurate calls, managing player conduct, and ensuring a safe and sportsmanlike workplace for all participants.
The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of specific sport rules, excellent judgment, and the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
- Officiate sporting matches according to the official rules and regulations of the specific sport.
- Make fair and consistent calls on infringements, points, and game progression.
- Manage player behavior and enforce disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with athletes, coaches, and event organizers.
- Ensure the safety of participants by monitoring play and intervening when hazards arise.
- Prepare pre-game assessments and post-game reports as required.
Requirements
- Certification and demonstrated knowledge of the rules and regulations for at least one specific sport (e.g., soccer, basketball, rugby, cricket).
- Previous experience as a sports referee or umpire at a competitive level.
- Excellent judgment, decision-making skills, and a high level of integrity.
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Physical fitness and the agility to keep pace with the game.
- Reliability and punctuality for all assigned events in and around Kimberley.
