Oversee daily food service operations and ensure appropriate service standards are maintained.

Coordinate catering services for internal and external events.

Contribute to menu planning and development.





Collaborate with healthcare professionals to accommodate therapeutic diets and dietary modifications based on residents medical needs.

Promote a safe, professional, and cooperative kitchen environment.

Qualifications and Requirements Red Seal Journeyman certification.

Current, recognized Advanced Food Safety certification.

Minimum of 57 years of experience as a chef.

At least 2 years of leadership experience in food services.

Experience with high-volume food preparation in hospitality, senior living, or long-term care.

Ability to lead a culinary team and maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and service.

Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check and, where applicable, a Vulnerable Sector Check.

Assets: Previous food service management experience.

Training or coursework related to Alzheimers disease and dementia care.
