As a Pet Expert, you will be the go-to resource for customers seeking advice on pet care, nutrition, and product selection. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine your love for animals with dynamic retail experience, all while helping customers find the perfect products for their pets.

Duties

- Provide personalized guidance to customers on pet nutrition, health, grooming, and care needs
- Demonstrate product features and benefits through engaging product demos and explanations
- Assist customers with selecting appropriate merchandise, including food, toys, accessories, and health supplies
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, cash handling, and receipts
- Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and sales goals
- Maintain organized shelves and ensure cleanliness and safety standards are upheld throughout the store
- Continuous stocking of shelves with product to maintain available inventory.

Qualifications





- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly in English; multilingual abilities are a plus
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably within pet or specialty retail environments
- Basic math skills for cash handling, POS operation, and inventory management
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently during busy periods
- Bilingual proficiency is highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques, POS systems, and retail best practices is preferred
- Ability to lift 40lbs on a regular basis.

Pay: $17.95 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 30.0 per week
