We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Denturist to join our dynamic dental team. As a vital member of our practice, you will be responsible for designing, fabricating, fitting, and adjusting removable dental prostheses such as dentures, partials, and overdentures to restore patients’ oral function and aesthetics. Your expertise will help improve patients’ confidence and quality of life through personalized dental solutions. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with patients to assess their needs and develop customized denture solutions that meet their functional and aesthetic goals
- Use CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to create precise digital models of dental prostheses
- Fabricate, modify, and fit dentures and other removable appliances in the laboratory setting, ensuring optimal comfort and fit
- Conduct thorough examinations of oral structures, utilizing medical terminology accurately to document findings and treatment plans
- Assist in managing the dental office’s workflow by supporting dental assisting staff during patient appointments
- Maintain detailed records of patient treatments,
laboratory procedures, and clinical notes in compliance with regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with patients about care instructions, maintenance, and follow-up appointments to ensure satisfaction and ongoing oral health
Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software for designing dental prostheses
- Previous experience working in a dental office environment or laboratory setting
- Solid understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health
- Laboratory experience in fabricating dental appliances using various materials and techniques
- Knowledge of dental assisting procedures to support clinical operations effectively
- Excellent communication skills for patient interactions and team collaboration
- Ability to interpret dental impressions, X-rays, and clinical data accurately
