Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have a passion for the food industry. This role involves providing excellent service to our guests, handling cash transactions.

Job Timing - 11 am- 8 pm

Days - Weekdays, and Weekends

Responsibilities

-Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner

-Processing payments and providing change and receipts

-Assisting with or taking customer orders

-Closing or cashing out the register at the end of the day
- Prepare and serve beverages to customers following standard recipes

-Prepare and serve beverages in accordance with standard recipes and service standards.





-Ensure responsible liquor service and comply with Alberta liquor service regulations

- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations when necessary
- Keep kitchen clean: dishes, surfaces, equipment and floor

-Sweep, mop the floor when needed

-Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours

-Assist with food prep, cutting, and restocking throughout the shift
- Support dishwashing duties when needed
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Monitor inventory levels and restock bar supplies as needed

-Ensure that tables are clean and properly set before and after service

Qualifications

- Previous experience in the food service industry or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Previous liquor serving experience is required (ProServe certification is considered an asset).
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
