We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Physiotherapist to join our dedicated healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physical conditions by reviewing medical histories and conducting thorough examinations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and recovery goals
- Provide hands-on physiotherapy interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies to optimize outcomes
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, self-management techniques, and home exercise programs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare standards
Requirements
- Valid registration as a licensed Physiotherapist with relevant professional regulatory bodies
- Proven hospital experience with exposure to acute care environments
- Experience working with pediatric populations is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced clinical settings while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to varying patient needs and treatment plans
