We are looking for a passionate Senior Behaviour Therapist to work directly with children and youth with ASD, ADHD, and Developmental Delays to teach social, emotional, and academic skills.

POSITION SUMMARY

Nurest Treatment Center is seeking a progressive and experienced Senior ABA Therapist who is passionate about modern, relationship-based, and neurodiversity-affirming ABA practices.

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Clinical Director and the Director of Children and Youth Programs. They will manage programming for four clients, mentor lead and junior therapists, collaborate closely with families, and develop interventions that prioritize emotional well-being, self-advocacy, trust, and meaningful participation.

MAIN RESPONSIBLITIES

- Design individualized programs based on assessments and in consultation with families and staff.
- Run appropriate assessments under the supervision of an RBA or Director.
- Deliver face-to-face programming to clients according to individual programming based on Assent and Trauma Informed Approaches
- Provide support for interfering behaviours.
- Collect accurate data and maintain documentation.
- Clean up after sessions to maintain a professional workplace.
- Collaborate with other therapists, Program Managers, and RBAs to provide comprehensive support for clients.
- Design and implement activities for individual sessions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.




- Provide guidance to junior staff and provide appropriate feedback
- Exercise and model sound clinical judgement
- Support families as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

- College diploma in Behavioural Science, ABA, Social Work, or Developmental services AND/OR
- Undergraduate degree in Psychology, Behavioural Science, Social Work, Neuroscience, or another related field. Working towards RBA certification preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience delivering therapeutic programming in an Applied Behavioural Analysis settings
- Experience supporting children/youth with interfering behaviours.
- First AID/CPR Certification
- Must be willing to obtain a Certified Vulnerable Sector Check if selected as the successful candidate.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Flexible approach to work demands.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good play skills.
- Fluency in other languages (French, Arabic) preferred.
