Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be instrumental in preparing high-quality food, assisting with meal assembly, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Your enthusiasm for food service and commitment to safety will help ensure our guests enjoy memorable dining experiences every day.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist in food preparation for daily service, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols.
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by efficiently handling food prep tasks.
- Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to ensure safety.
- Assist with inventory management,
including restocking supplies and rotating stock.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to promote a safe working environment.
Skills
- Prior food service experience, including restaurant or kitchen roles, is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Robust understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience with serving guests and managing multiple tasks in a rapid-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
