We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator with Alberta ECE Level 2 or Level 3 certification to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse needs, including children with disabilities or special education requirements
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and daily experiences
- Ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards are consistently met within the classroom setting
- Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum enhancements and classroom routines that support early childhood education best practices
- Utilize computer skills for documentation, record-keeping, and communication purposes
- Manage time effectively to balance lesson planning, classroom supervision,
and administrative tasks
Qualifications
- Valid Alberta ECE Level 2 or Level 3 certification in early childhood education
- Proven experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education strategies
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, and team members
- Excellent organizational skills for managing classroom activities, documentation, and schedules
- Proficiency in computer operation for record keeping, lesson planning, and communication tools
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to guide children positively and work collaboratively within a team
