Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our shop. We manufacture ductwork fittings using a Plasma table with CAM software and sheets of metal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining and programming, with the ability to read technical drawings and worksheets, and utilize various tools and equipment.
Duties:
- Interpret technical drawings to determine machining specifications.
- Set up CNC machine, including calibrating tools and fixtures for optimal performance.
- Conduct routine maintenance on the Plasma cutter to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes.
- Fabricate duct fittings as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment,
following safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret worksheets and fittings accurately is essential.
- Proficiency in operating CNC machinery.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Ability to form fittings using various machines and metal breaks is essential.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
