About the role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Donor Care and Community Outreach Officer to join our team. In this vital role, you will be the primary point of contact for our generous donors, ensuring their experience is positive, engaging, and rewarding. In addition to that, you will be helping our organization in fundraising initiatives including collections during Friday prayers at mosques, Expos, and other fundraising events.
Responsibilities
- Respond to donor inquiries by phone, email, and in person with warmth and professionalism.
- Build and maintain relationships with community groups, mosques, schools, businesses, and volunteers.
- Represent the organization at events, including some evenings and weekends
- Build a volunteer network that can be used to support the team during fundraising initiatives and events.
- Process and track donations accurately, and maintain accurate donor records in our CRM system
- Follow up with donors to thank them, share impact updates, and encourage continued giving
- Resolve donor concerns promptly and escalate complex issues when needed
- Build relationship with Muslim Student Associations to foster Al Mustafa Canada Brand amongst the youth.
- Provide support to the team during Friday Prayers (when required) and Ramadan fundraising campaign.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and record keeping.
Other Eligibility requirements:
- Bachelors Degree or above
- Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle for commuting to the office and traveling to community events
- Eligible to work in Canada
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
