Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service by understanding their preferences and needs
- Educate customers on various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories, ensuring they make informed choices
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, transactions, and inventory management
- Assist with merchandising displays to highlight current products and promotions effectively
- Uphold compliance with all legal regulations related to cannabis sales and age restrictions
- Manage inventory levels through proper filing, stock replenishment, and product organization
- Upsell products by recommending complementary items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales volume
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring a professional environment at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles; hospitality background is a plus
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel for basic data entry and record keeping
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling inventory or supplies safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of POS systems, cashiering procedures, and computer operation skills
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for filing, merchandising, and stock management
