Responsibilities

- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system, including Micros POS, to process customer orders quickly and accurately
- Handle cash transactions with precision, providing correct change and managing cash handling procedures
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling ingredients, plating dishes, and ensuring food presentation meets quality standards
- Serve customers efficiently, offering friendly service and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in both the kitchen and dining areas by following food safety protocols




- Support food handling practices by adhering to hygiene regulations and proper storage procedures
- Ensure timely delivery of orders from the kitchen to customers while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on cashiering and food handling
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for smooth transaction processing
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively without compromising service quality
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and transparent communication abilities
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, making change, and calculating totals
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Kitchen experience is preferred to assist with food preparation tasks efficiently
- Ability to multitask between cashier duties and kitchen support seamlessly while maintaining attention to detail
