Duties

- Prepare a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and specialty cakes, following established recipes and food safety standards
- Decorate cakes with intricate designs, fondant, icing, and other decorative elements to meet customer specifications
- Assist customers at the front counter by taking orders, answering questions about products, and providing friendly service
- Handle food preparation tasks such as mixing ingredients, portioning batter, and assembling baked items efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food handling and safety regulations
- Package baked goods carefully for sale or delivery to ensure quality and presentation are preserved




- Support the team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks with enthusiasm and professionalism

Qualifications

- Proven experience in cake decorating or baking within a restaurant or food service setting is highly desirable
- Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and baking techniques with attention to detail
- Excellent customer service abilities with a positive attitude and clear communication skills
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards to ensure hygienic practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Previous experience working in the food industry or kitchen environment is preferred
- Basic understanding of packaging techniques for baked goods to ensure freshness and presentation
