We are looking for experienced, outgoing, and personable Servers and Bartenders who are passionate about hospitality and eager to be part of something special from the beginning. Position Overview

As a Server or Bartender at CELLARS AT THE REGISTRY, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming, sophisticated, and memorable experience for every guest. You will combine strong service skills with a genuine passion for food and beverage, helping guests explore our wine, whiskey, and cocktail offerings while delivering attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized service.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver exceptional, professional, and personalized service in an upscale hospitality workplace.
- Welcome guests warmly, build rapport, and create a lively, engaging, and memorable atmosphere.
- Demonstrate knowledge of wine, whiskey, spirits, cocktails, and beverage service.
- Confidently recommend wines, whiskey selections, and cocktails based on guest preferences.
- Prepare and serve classic and signature cocktails to established quality standards, where applicable.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Maintain excellent presentation standards throughout the dining and bar areas.
- Work collaboratively with team members and management to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with all health, safety,



and responsible alcohol service requirements.
- Stay informed about beverage selections, featured products, promotions, and menu offerings.
- Contribute to a positive team culture and help establish CELLARS AT THE REGISTRY as a premier destination in Ottawa.

Qualifications & Experience

- Previous experience as a server or bartender in an upscale restaurant, cocktail bar, wine bar, hotel, or comparable hospitality establishment.
- A genuine passion for wine, whiskey, spirits, and craft cocktails.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a naturally outgoing and social personality.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to anticipate guest needs.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and a strong commitment to hospitality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork, reliability, and a willingness to learn and grow.
- Smart Serve certification for Ontario, as required for the position.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
