About the Chance

Here is your opportunity to run your own shop. This is not a fast paced environment with time clocks and break horns. This is a steady, 40 hour week shop with reasonable deadlines.

This is a leadership position, where you are required to supervise and mentor an apprentice.

We are looking for an individual with a strong focus on detail and who is proud of their work.

What You'll Do

- Perform welding using FCAW, MCAW, MIG
- Complete welds in multiple positions while meeting quality specifications
- Experience in fabrication, specifically tank fabrication
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints and work instructions
- Fit, fabricate, and assemble steel components to project requirements
- Manage timeline and build expectations
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards




- Leadership and supervision of younger welders
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work space

What We're Looking For

- Alberta Journeyman Welding certification
- Forklift certification or the ability to attain
- Confined Space certification or the ability to attain
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation (work is in Lacombe)

We operate Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00pm.
