Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Bakery Production Worker to assist with preparing, mixing, baking, packaging, and labeling bakery products. The successful candidate will help maintain product quality, cleanliness, food safety, and an organized production area while ensuring bakery products are prepared according to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with preparing ingredients and measuring materials according to recipes and production requirements.
- Mix, knead, shape, and prepare dough, batters, and other bakery products.
- Operate bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, and other production tools, as required.
- Assist with baking bread, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other bakery products.
- Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality.
- Package, label, and prepare finished bakery products for storage or distribution.
- Inspect bakery products for freshness, quality, appearance, and damage.
- Maintain proper stock rotation using first-in, first-out (FIFO) practices.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and production surfaces.
- Store ingredients and finished products according to food safety requirements.
- Monitor ingredient supplies and report low stock or damaged materials to the supervisor.
- Follow food safety, workplace safety, and personal hygiene procedures.
- Lift and move ingredient bags, trays, boxes, and bakery supplies as required.




- Work with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in bakery production, food processing, food service, or manufacturing is an asset.
- Basic knowledge of baking ingredients, recipes, and food preparation is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production workplace.
- Good attention to detail and product quality.
- Ability to follow instructions, recipes, and production procedures.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Ability to lift and move ingredients, trays, and boxes safely.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.

Working Conditions

- Work may involve standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive movements.
- May involve working near ovens, mixers, and other bakery production equipment.
- May involve exposure to warm or cool working environments.
- Work may require handling flour, dough, baking ingredients, and cleaning supplies.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, early mornings, and holidays, may be required.
- Must follow all workplace health and safety procedures.

Pay: From $17.95 per hour
