Primary Role:

The Diamond Room Technician is responsible for assisting in the fabrication of all Diamond products (including but not limited to Bits, Reaming Shells, Casing Shoes, and Locking Couplings) while adhering to all Di-Corp’s quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

- Proficient with Diamond Room equipment such as presses, measuring scales, mixers etc.
- Use of sand blast cabinet to clean blanks prior to assembly.
- Selection/ assembly of carbon components and blanks.
- Mix recipes, pour/ press powders, set diamonds/ inserts to specified requirement and add appropriate binders prior to furnacing.
- Record inventory usage of finished products using an ERP system.
- Application of barrier medias.
- Load/ unload furnaces using appropriate equipment and PPE.
- Safe operation of furnace equipment and determine cycle times based on product being furnaced.
- Maintain a safe working setting and promote health and safety awareness.
- Identify, investigate,



and correct unsafe practices.

Minimum Required Education:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Post-Secondary Trade Certificate or Diploma is an asset.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Good numeracy skills and basic mathematical knowledge.
- Understanding of measuring units and conversions (temperatures, dimensions, and weights).
- Mechanically inclined and attention to detail.
- Capable of multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills.

Physical Demands:

- Moderate to heavy lifting (Lift / Carry weights to 50 lbs, Push / Pull weights to 150 lbs).
- Repetitive tasks.
- Standing for long periods of time.
- Use of respirator which requires user to be clean shaven to ensure proper fit-testing.
- Ability to work shiftwork which could include day / afternoon/ midnight, 12-hour days and some weekends.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
