Marrbeck Construction Ltd. is a Winnipeg-based General Contractor and Construction Manager focused on maximizing value to our Clients while delivering projects of varying complexity.

Since 2012, we have successfully delivered public and private sector projects across Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario, and many of our clients return to us project after project. Our team's collective experience includes managing projects ranging from a few hundred thousand dollars to over $200 million. We have chosen a balanced, deliberate approach to growth so that every client receives our full attention.

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Director of Field Operations, the Project Manager leads the project team and is accountable for delivering assigned projects on budget, on schedule and to the Owner's expectations.

Responsibilities

- Lead the project team and manage the relationship with the Owner and consultants
- Manage project budgets, cost reporting, progress billing and cash flow
- Plan and maintain the schedule with the Site Superintendent
- Coordinate and manage our trade partners, including subcontracts and purchase orders
- Manage shop drawings, submittals, RFIs and change orders
- Run project meetings and keep stakeholders informed
- Support the site safety program and quality management
- Manage closeout, including deficiencies,



warranties and O&M; manuals

Education, Experience & Skills:

- 3+ years as a Project Coordinator or experience as a Project Manager with a general contractor
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline is an asset; Gold Seal Certification is an asset
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Experience managing budgets, change orders and multiple scopes
- Proficiency with MS Project and Excel; Autodesk Construction Cloud experience is an asset
- Sound judgment under pressure and solid attention to detail
- Valid driver's license
