Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Pharmacy Assistant for an immediate, 1-month contract opportunity. In this role, you will support local medical clinics and hospitals, gaining exposure to a specialized side of pharmaceuticals. This is a fantastic chance to expand your skills in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

- Contract Duration: The month of November, 2026 with strong potential for extension.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (1/2 hr unpaid break).
- Pay Rate: $19 - $21/Hour

Key Responsibilities
Your primary duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Assisting the pharmacist with final product labeling, packing, and shipping.
- Preparing medications for final checks by the pharmacist.
- Providing excellent customer service to all patients and healthcare providers.
- Speaking with patients over the phone to confirm delivery details.
- Checking prescriptions for proper dosage and accuracy.




- Maintaining patient medical profiles and coordinating clinical investigations.
- Evaluating the labeling, packaging, and advertising of drugs.
- Lifting up to 50lbs to help with restocking as required.

Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant.
- High proficiency using the Kroll pharmacy system is essential (experience with a high volume of ~300 Rx/day is ideal).
- Knowledge of courier services and shipping processes is a strong asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interaction.
- Must be highly motivated, personable, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to lift 50lbs as required for inventory management.
