We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Spray Foam Technician to join Cutting Edge Insulation.
In this role, you will be responsible for applying spray foam insulation to various building structures, ensuring energy efficiency and proper insulation standards. Your expertise will contribute to creating comfortable, sustainable environments for our clients. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces and areas by cleaning, masking, and setting up equipment to ensure optimal spray foam application.
- Operate spray foam equipment safely and efficiently, mixing materials accurately according to project specifications.
- Apply spray foam insulation with precision, ensuring even coverage and adherence to blueprints and project plans.
- Use hand tools and other construction-related equipment to assist with surface preparation and finishing tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project instructions to meet insulation requirements.
- Perform minor drywall repairs or caulking as needed to prepare surfaces for insulation installation.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area, tools, and equipment throughout the project to promote safety and efficiency.
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or insulation installation is highly preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with caulking, drywall installation, or general hand tools is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand construction plans is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols during all phases of work.
- Physical ability to stand, lift, bend, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
