Assistant Manager — Tim Hortons

Location: George Street, Sydney, NS
Job type: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Pay: $19.00–$19.50 per hour, depending on experience

We are looking for a dependable, organized Assistant Manager to help lead our George Street Tim Hortons team. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes initiative, supports employees, and follows through on daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities

- Support the Restaurant Manager with daily operations.
- Lead shifts and maintain friendly, efficient guest service.
- Train, coach, and support team members and supervisors.
- Monitor drive-thru service and help the team improve speed and accuracy.
- Complete inventory counts, monitor waste, and maintain accurate records.
- Handle cash, deposits, and opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and product quality standards.
- Keep tasks, paperwork, and restaurant records organized.




- Address guest concerns and communicate operational issues promptly.

What we’re looking for

- Previous restaurant, retail, or customer service leadership experience.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Confidence leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability and a commitment to working 40 hours per week.
- Availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Tim Hortons experience is an asset.
