Location: Grand River Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu — 55 Dickson St, Cambridge, ON

About Us

Grand River BJJ is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school offering classes for kids, teens, and adults. We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and proactive person to welcome our students and their families and help grow our school.

Responsibilities

- Welcome students, parents, and visitors, creating a friendly and skilled experience.
- Contact and follow up with leads through text messages, phone calls, and email. This is a major part of the role.
- Book free trial classes, send reminders, and follow up afterward to help prospective members enroll.
- Answer questions about programs, schedules, memberships, and promotions.
- Support current students and their families with inquiries and daily needs.
- Assist with registrations, member records, merchandise sales, and administrative tasks.
- Keep the front desk and reception area tidy and welcoming.

Requirements

- Strong attention to detail is mandatory.




- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Comfortable making phone calls, sending texts, and following up consistently.
- Friendly, dependable, and confident interacting with children and adults.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Able to take initiative and work as part of a team.
- Customer service, sales, or front desk experience is an asset.
- Familiarity with martial arts or fitness is helpful but not required.
