We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in various procedures. Duties
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Curve dental software
- Sterilize instruments and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
- Support patients with a gentle approach to create a comfortable experience.
- Assist in orthodontic procedures when necessary, demonstrating knowledge of orthodontics.
Qualifications
- 2- 3 years Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is required for this position.
- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Curve highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry is essential.
- Experience in orthodontics will be considered an asset.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Certification in Dental Assisting is Required.
