Part-Time Retail Associate

Wee Closet is a recent, women owned children's resale store focused on making it as easy as possible for parents to declutter and sell quality children's Items. We work with local non-profits providing donations to families and children in difficult situations. We pride ourselves on being the best option for parents to make some money, help the community and buy quality and high end products. Since our company is a baby itself, we are looking for reliable, driven, and knowledgably individuals to join our team. There will be ample opportunity to grow in your position and further your career as the company grows.

What You'll Do:

Shift Supervisor:

- Team leadership including: assigning tasks, ensuring staff teak breaks at appropriate times, helping staff to function to the best of their ability
- Managing opening and closing store procedures
- Professionally handling customer concerns
- Ensure store policies and procedures are followed
- Manage POS and cash operations accurately
- Ensure inventory is being maintained
- Take initiative to keep operations running smoothly

Customer Service & Sales

- Process store sale and inventory purchase transactions
- Creating and managing accounts in our inventory system
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment
- Understanding and educating clients on our process and policies
- Welcoming and assisting clients

Inventory Processing

- Review and sort incoming clothing, footwear,



and baby gear
- Assess items for quality and condition
- Pricing, tagging, and organizing
- Using our inventory system to record and understand inventory needs

Merchandising

- Stock merchandise throughout the store
- Create attractive product displays
- Ensure sales floor remains organized and shoppable

What We're Looking For

- Someone with previous retail and POS experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
- Comfortable standing, bending, and walking for long periods and the ability to lift 50lbs
- Dependable, organized, and committed

Hours
Part-time, including a mix of weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
