Job duties:

- Diagnostics: Use computerized diagnostic equipment, scanners, and software to identify faults in engines, transmissions, electrical wiring, and onboard computers.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, fluid flushes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and tune-ups.
- Repairs and Replacements: Repair or replace worn, damaged, or defective components, including brake pads, wheel bearings, suspension parts, drive belts, and sensors.
- Documentation: Record completed work, parts used, labor hours, and multi-point inspection results on work orders or digital shop systems.
- Safety and Compliance: Maintain a clean,



protected workspace and ensure vehicles comply with local safety and emission standards.
- Common Specializations
- Engine and Fuel Systems: Rebuilding or tuning internal combustion and alternative fuel powertrains.
- Electric and Hybrid Vehicles: Servicing high-voltage battery packs, electric motors, and regenerative braking systems.
- Transmissions and Drivetrains: Diagnosing and overhauling manual and automatic transmissions.
- Steering, Suspension, and Brakes: Performing wheel alignments, shock/strut replacements, and hydraulic or air brake servicing.
- Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC): Repairing climate control and refrigerant loops.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 per week
