Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are properly cleaned and organized. This role is essential in supporting the overall efficiency of our restaurant or hospitality operation, contributing to a positive guest experience. Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using appropriate cleaning methods
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and kitchen areas to meet health and safety standards
- Organize and store clean items in designated areas for easy access by staff
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including handling food items safely
- Support kitchen staff with cleaning duties to ensure a hygienic work setting
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and equipment use
- Manage waste disposal efficiently and responsibly
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
