The Warehouse / Parts Assistant works closely with the Warehouse Manager and Parts Technician to keep our parts inventory organized, accurate, and moving efficiently. This role includes stocking shelves, receiving orders, assisting with parts purchasing, and helping with general warehouse duties.
You’ll be an important part of keeping our technicians and service team supplied with the parts they need to keep our customers' doors operating safely and reliably.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Inventory Support
- Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy
- Stock shelves and organize inventory
- Help move and manage parts and materials throughout the warehouse
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
Parts Department Support
- Assist with ordering parts as directed
- Receive and enter parts into the system
- Prepare parts for service technicians and installers
- Assist the Parts Technician with day-to-day tasks
General Support
- Work closely with the Warehouse Manager and Parts Tech
- Help with cycle counts and inventory checks
- Perform other duties as needed to support the team
Qualifications
Required:
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good organization skills
- Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy items
- Comfortable working in a warehouse workplace
- Reliable and able to work independently or with a team
Preferred (but not required):
- Experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or parts departments
- Forklift experience or certification (we can help with training)
- Basic computer skills
Training will be provided for all key tasks.
