Duties

- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and answer questions about food and beverage options to enhance their dining experience
- Accurately take and relay customer orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring clarity and efficiency
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering, processing payments, and giving correct change with basic math skills
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations




- Assist with food preparation tasks when needed and ensure adherence to food safety regulations at all times

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest services and hospitality
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering functions
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures within the food industry
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling, billing, and order calculations
- Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales potential
- Kitchen experience or understanding of food preparation processes is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
