We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Fitter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our manufacturing equipment and facilities, ensuring smooth operations across our production sites. Your expertise will help uphold our high standards of safety, efficiency, and quality in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to identify root causes
- Repair or replace faulty components such as belts, gears, motors, valves, and electrical wiring
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Conduct welding, HVAC repairs, boiler servicing, and other specialized tasks as needed
- Read and interpret schematics to facilitate effective repairs and installations
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
Requirements
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or maintenance fitter within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance tasks
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and electrical experience
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately
- Experience with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and planning
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, boilers, welding techniques, and safety protocols
- Excellent analysis skills to troubleshoot complex machinery issues efficiently
- Solid communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork
- Customer service mindset with the ability to prioritize safety and operational excellence
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
