One Rehab Inc. is a growing rehabilitation company providing community-based rehabilitation services to clients across Ontario.

Our clients include individuals recovering from motor vehicle accidents, acquired and traumatic brain injuries, chronic pain, orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, catastrophic injuries, and other complex rehabilitation needs.

We work closely with Occupational Therapists and other rehabilitation professionals to provide practical, client-centred support that helps individuals work toward greater independence in their everyday lives.

We are looking for Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) to join our growing team and provide rehabilitation support in clients' homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement OT-directed rehabilitation plans and strategies.
- Provide one-to-one rehabilitation support in clients’ homes and community settings.
- Assist clients with daily activities, routines, and functional tasks.
- Provide prompting, cueing, education, encouragement, and hands-on support as required.
- Support cognitive strategies including memory, organization, attention,



planning, and problem-solving.
- Reinforce OT recommendations and home programs.
- Observe and communicate changes in the client’s physical, cognitive, emotional, or functional presentation.
- Complete clear and timely session documentation.
- Communicate regularly with the supervising OT and rehabilitation team.
- Support clients in working toward greater independence in their daily lives.

Qualifications

- Diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant / Physiotherapy Assistant (OTA/PTA) or a related rehabilitation program from a recognized institution.
- Experience working with individuals with acquired brain injury, traumatic brain injury, chronic pain, orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, or other complex rehabilitation needs is an asset.
- Experience in community-based rehabilitation is an asset.
- Valid Ontario driver's licence.
- Reliable access to a vehicle for community-based assignments.
- Vulnerable Sector Check, where required based on the client assignment.
