Position Summary

As a Playroom Attendant, you will provide quality childcare for children aged 0–5 years, ensuring their safety, comfort, and enjoyment while following established childcare and wellness procedures. You will lead age-appropriate activities and help maintain a clean, welcoming space where children can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise children at all times, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment

- Provide care including feeding, diapering, and supporting personal hygiene routines

- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities such as songs and music, story time, arts and crafts, and active play

- Encourage positive social interaction and emotional development

- Complete daily documentation including attendance lists, activity logs, and wellness checks

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the playroom,



including light cleaning duties

- Follow all established childcare, health, and safety procedures

- Collaborate with other Playroom and Club staff to create a positive and inclusive experience

What We’re Looking For

- A genuine love for working with young children

- Patient, nurturing, and reliable with a positive attitude

- Ability to engage children through creative and structured play

- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

- Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, classroom, or caregiving settings is an asset

- Experience supporting children with disabilities is considered an asset

- First Aid and CPR certification is an asset

Schedule & Season

- Primary shifts: Saturdays and Sundays, 8:15 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

- Additional hours may be available during holidays and March Break

- Season: Winter ski season, approximately December to end of March

Position Details
