Old Country Sausages is a locally owned company based in Raymond, Alberta. We have been making traditional air-dried pepperoni, jerky, and meat snacks since 2002, with products now sold throughout Alberta. While the business has grown over the years, our approach to making food has stayed very much the same. We use simple ingredients, no added nitrites, and take the time and care needed to make excellent tasting, quality food.

As Old Country Sausages continues to grow, we are looking for a Marketing & Project Manager to help us build on what we have established and support the next stage of development. This role will manage our social media and marketing while also helping coordinate new projects and opportunities across the business.

This is a hands-on role that combines marketing and social media with project management. The Marketing & Project Manager will manage social media and content, help keep branding consistent, respond to customers, support events and launches, and work with trades, suppliers, and other partners as new projects move forward.

We are looking for someone who is creative, organized, and comfortable managing a mix of responsibilities. This role requires a good eye for what looks great and fits the brand, an understanding of how to create content people actually want to see, and the organization skills to stay on top of the details behind the scenes. The ideal candidate will be comfortable moving between creative work and project coordination,

What You’ll Do:

Social Media & Content

- Manage social media and create regular content across the business, including photos, videos, stories, and posts
- Keep content current and engaging while maintaining a consistent look, feel, and voice across social media, marketing, and customer communications that reflects the brand
- Work closely with ownership to plan and coordinate marketing for products, promotions, events, recent locations, and other business developments

Project Management

- Coordinate new locations, renovations, launches, and other business projects from the planning stage all the way through to completion
- Work with trades, contractors, suppliers, and other partners to coordinate timelines and keep projects moving forward
- Track deadlines, decisions, outstanding items, and next steps, and follow up to make sure things are completed

Events & Business Growth

- Help plan and coordinate events, openings, promotions, and other relevant activities
- Support new business ideas and projects as the company continues to grow
- Coordinate the marketing, communications, and project details required for new initiatives

Customer Communication

- Respond to customer emails, social media messages, comments, and general questions
- Ensure customers receive timely, friendly,

and professional communication
- Help maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, partners, and others we work with

What We’re Looking For:

- Experience in marketing, social media, communications, project management, or a related role
- Strong social media and content creation skills, with an understanding of what makes content interesting and visually appealing
- A strong eye for design, photography, branding, and presentation
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage several priorities at once
- Comfortable working with trades, contractors, suppliers, and other partners to coordinate work and follow up on details
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable communicating directly with customers and representing the business professionally
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems as they come up
- Experience with social media platforms, content creation, and design tools
- Experience with food, hospitality, retail, events, renovations, or growing businesses is considered an asset
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between locations as required

Position Highlights:

- This is a unique role that combines marketing, social media, and project management
- Opportunity to join an established Alberta company during an exciting period of growth
- Take ownership of how our brand is presented and promoted, with room to bring new ideas forward
- Work closely with ownership and play an important role in new projects and opportunities as they develop

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
