Phylax Security is currently recruiting professional, reliable, and experienced Security Guards for an anticipated long-term Fire Watch assignment in East Ottawa.

We are looking for dedicated individuals who are interested in consistent work, long-term employment, and maintaining a high standard of professionalism.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking full-time or part time work on a long-term project.

Available Shifts:

- Weekday evening and overnight shifts.
- Weekend day, evening, and overnight shifts.
- Morning shifts based on operational requirements.
- Full-time and part-time schedules available.
- Consistent availability and flexibility are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular Fire Watch patrols throughout designated areas.
- Monitor the premises for fire hazards and unsafe conditions.
- Ensure fire exits, emergency access points, and designated pathways remain accessible.
- Maintain accurate Fire Watch logs and patrol documentation.
- Immediately report fire hazards, emergencies, or unusual activities.
- Follow site-specific fire prevention and emergency procedures.
- Coordinate with site management and emergency responders when required.
- Maintain a professional presence and comply with all site safety requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- Previous security, construction-site,



or Fire Watch experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and remain alert throughout the shift.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Reliable transportation or a dependable commute to East Ottawa.
- Excellent attendance, punctuality, and professionalism.
- Ability to work evenings, overnights, weekends, and statutory holidays when scheduled.
