Duties

- Greet guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor, making them feel valued from the moment they walk in
- Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring accurate seating arrangements and waitlist management
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize table turnover and guest flow
- Provide detailed information about the menu, restaurant policies, and special events to enhance guest experience
- Answer incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, addressing inquiries and confirming reservations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to uphold our high standards of presentation
- Assist with guest inquiries or concerns calmly and professionally,

Qualifications

- Proven experience in guest services, serving, or hospitality roles within a restaurant workplace
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests
- Previous food service experience preferred, especially in fine dining settings
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is highly desirable
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with phone etiquette and managing reservation systems effectively
- Hotel or hospitality experience is a plus but not required; a genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences is essential

Pay: $17.60-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 44.0 per week
