Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Biology Tutor for Grades 8–12 with a strong understanding of the BC Science and Biology curriculum.

Tutors must be available for in-home sessions in Surrey, White Rock and Delta.

Responsibilities

- Provide one-on-one tutoring in Biology (Grades 8–12)
- Adapt lessons and teaching approaches to suit different learning styles and academic needs.
- Create a patient, structured, and supportive learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and next steps.
- Submit session reports after each lesson to track goals and achievements.

Qualifications

- Experience tutoring or teaching high school Biology (required).
- Strong knowledge of the BC Science and Biology curriculum.
- Patient, encouraging,



and able to connect well with students.
- Reliable and professional; experience supporting diverse learning needs is an asset.
- Education Assistant / Special Education Assistant (EA/SEA) experience is an asset.
- BC Teacher certification preferred but not required; strong applicants with university-level science backgrounds (BSc students, graduates, or pre-med students) will also be considered.

Pay: $25.00-$34.00 per hour
