Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and present menus with enthusiasm.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted clearly.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards throughout service.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties and processing payments swiftly.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit, addressing any concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas,
and service stations in accordance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
Requirements
- Prior food service or restaurant experience demonstrating robust guest service skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order entry and cashiering.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing, change calculation, and order adjustments.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests.
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is a plus but not required; a passion for serving others is essential.
