Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our dynamic logistics team. Responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate daily dispatch activities using transportation management systems to optimize freight routes and schedules
- Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, warehouse staff, and customers via multi-line phone systems and email to relay instructions and updates
- Monitor shipment statuses, update tracking information, and ensure accurate data entry into systems such as AS400 and SyteLine
- Oversee shipping & receiving processes, verifying documentation and coordinating pickups and deliveries in accordance with company policies




- Analyze transportation data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings
- Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities, shipment logs, and incident reports for compliance and reporting purposes
- Provide exceptional phone etiquette and professional communication to foster positive relationships with all stakeholders

Experience

- Proven experience working with transportation management systems (TMS) or equivalent logistics software
- Solid understanding of supply chain operations, freight management, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers
- Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, inventory control, and warehouse operations
- Demonstrated proficiency in data entry, analysis skills, and typing accuracy in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently
- Knowledge of AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SyteLine is preferred
- Prior experience in freight coordination or dispatch roles is highly desirable

Pay: $18.21-$32.32 per hour
