Canadian Security Systems Ltd. is a locally owned and operated security company that has proudly served Southern Alberta since 1990.

We are looking for a motivated, reliable individual to join our team as a full-time Security Systems Installer.

This is a hands-on position involving the installation, servicing, and maintenance of residential and commercial security systems throughout Southern Alberta.

Previous security systems experience is not required. We are willing to provide training to the right candidate. We value a strong work ethic, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

- Install, service, and maintain residential and commercial alarm systems.
- Install and configure security cameras and recording equipment.
- Assist with access control systems and related security equipment.
- Run, terminate, and organize low-voltage wiring.
- Troubleshoot equipment and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain clean, professional, and organized installations.
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
- Travel to customer locations throughout Southern Alberta.

Requirements

- Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a criminal record check.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive customer information.
- Physically capable of climbing ladders, working at heights, and lifting equipment.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.




- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working with tools and performing hands-on tasks.
- Fluent in English, with strong verbal communication, reading, and writing skills.

Assets (Not Required)

The following experience would be beneficial but is not necessary:

- Networking, computers, or general IT knowledge.
- Experience with alarm systems, security cameras, or access control.
- Low-voltage wiring or electrical experience.
- Construction, installation, or other technical trades experience.
- General troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
