At Summit Valve & Controls, we're expanding our Inside Sales team and are looking for talented professionals to support our growing business in:

- Municipal
- Industrial
- Instrumentation

What You'll Do

As an Inside Sales Representative, you'll be a trusted resource for customers across Western Canada, helping deliver technical products and solutions that keep critical industries running.

You'll:

- Prepare quotations and technical proposals
- Identify and recommend product solutions
- Manage and support day-to-day customer orders from quote through delivery
- Coordinate with the project management team to ensure smooth handover of project bids
- Collaborate with leading manufacturers and suppliers
- Build strong customer relationships through exceptional service
- Expand your technical expertise through ongoing training and development
- Support warehouse and operations teams with technical and automation-related requirements
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure a seamless customer experience

This role is involved throughout the entire sales cycle and plays a key role in delivering the high level of service Summit is known for. Success requires strong planning, organization, communication,



and a commitment to supporting customers, vendors, colleagues, and stakeholders with professionalism and reliability.

Ideal Qualifications

We're looking for candidates with a combination of the following:

- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Instrumentation Engineering Technology, or a related discipline. Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
- 1-3+ years of inside sales, customer service, technical support, or related experience
- Experience preparing quotations, technical proposals, and customer-focused solutions
- Technical experience within industrial, municipal, instrumentation, automation, or process industries
- Experience selling or supporting industrial, municipal, commercial, or engineered products
- Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills

Experience with industrial sales, engineering technology, instrumentation, municipal infrastructure, valves, automation, or related industries would be considered a strong asset.
