· Provide technical oversight for refrigeration systems and specialized tank equipment, including required inspections, certifications and maintenance programs.
· Partner with Safety and Risk on equipment-related incidents, roadside inspections, compliance trends and corrective actions.
· Evaluate fleet technology, telematics and maintenance-management tools that improve visibility, reliability, safety and total cost of ownership.
· Travel to company terminals and vendor facilities across Canada as required to review performance, equipment condition and maintenance practices.
Qualifications
· Valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician Licence is required.
· Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in commercial fleet maintenance, heavy-duty transportation or a related maintenance environment.

· Demonstrated experience building and managing preventative maintenance programs.
· Proven experience managing vendors, negotiating maintenance agreements and delivering measurable cost reductions.
· Strong understanding of commercial vehicle safety, inspection and regulatory requirements.
· Experience managing maintenance budgets, capital recommendations and equipment lifecycle decisions.
· Strong analytical ability with experience using fleet KPIs and maintenance data to drive decisions.
· Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
· Ability and willingness to travel across Canada as required.
Preferred Experience
