Job Summary

TEAMS Transport is looking for a dependable, hands-on Yard Service Technician to support our Winnipeg fleet and yard operations. This role is primarily field based, operating from a service truck and working outdoors year-round.

Hours will vary based on operational requirements and may include early morning starts. Following training, regular hours are expected to be approximately 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with every other Saturday required.

Responsibilities

- Perform basic inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on 53' trailers
- Repair and maintain tires, axles, lights, and fifth wheels
- Conduct daily truck and trailer inspections
- Maintain and stock the service truck




- Assist with trailer inspections and identify mechanical concerns
- Support equipment readiness and daily yard operations
- Work closely with Drivers, Dispatch, and Maintenance teams
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Qualifications

- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong mechanical aptitude; trailer or heavy equipment experience is an asset
- Able to work independently and manage priorities
- Proficient with mobile devices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Training will be provided as needed.
