Barista / Front of House

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking person to join our team at Pop Culture Dirty Soda & Cafe!

This position involves making drinks, serving customers, using the POS, keeping the cafe clean, and helping out wherever needed. We’re a busy cafe, so we’re looking for someone who can work well under pressure, stay organized, and keep a positive attitude during busy shifts.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers and provide friendly service
- Take orders and use the Square POS system
- Make dirty sodas, energy drinks, coffee, matcha, and other menu items
- Prepare and serve baked goods and food items
- Follow recipes and ensure drinks are made consistently
- Handle cash and card transactions
- Keep the bar, front counter, and customer areas clean
- Restock supplies throughout the shift
- Help with opening and closing duties
- Follow food safety and cleanliness standards




- Work with the rest of the team to keep things running smoothly during busy periods

Requirements

- Previous cafe, restaurant, barista, or customer service experience is an asset
- Friendly and comfortable talking with customers
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable using a POS system and handling cash
- Able to follow recipes and instructions
- Works well independently and with a team
- FoodSafe is an asset
