Location: Winnipeg, MB (with extensive Canada & USA travel)
As a Wholesale Territory Sales Representative with MPG, you will own and grow an assigned territory while helping build a stronger, brand-owned sales model.
You will develop a clear market strategy, identify whitespace, open new doors, grow existing accounts, and turn customer and market insight into sustainable revenue growth.
Based in our Winnipeg office, you will travel extensively across Canada and the United States to meet customers, attend trade shows and markets, and conduct business from company showrooms.
Why Join Mondetta
MPG is an active lifestyle apparel brand creating versatile products designed to move seamlessly through everyday life. Performance with Purpose reflects our commitment to function-first product, thoughtful design, innovation, quality, and more responsible material choices.
This is an opportunity to play a direct role in MPG’s growth. You will have the freedom and accountability to shape your territory, build meaningful retail partnerships, expand distribution, and help establish the internal sales capabilities needed for the brand’s next stage.
What You Will Do
Own and Grow Your Territory
- Develop and execute a territory strategy focused on revenue growth, account productivity, market coverage, and new business acquisition.
- Own seasonal sales and revenue targets and build a practical plan to meet or exceed them.
- Use sales reporting, retail math, market data, and customer insight to identify opportunities by region, account, and channel.
- Assess sell-through, inventory, reorders, replenishment opportunities, and account performance to strengthen results.
Open New Doors
- Identify whitespace and prospect new wholesale accounts across relevant channels and markets.
- Build relationships with lifestyle and fashion boutiques, outdoor specialty stores, resorts, spas, golf courses, fitness studios, run specialty stores, gyms, and athletic clubs.
- Present the MPG brand, product assortment, technical features, and commercial opportunity in a compelling and credible way.
- Guide new accounts from initial outreach through onboarding, first order, and ongoing growth.
Grow Existing Business
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key accounts and specialty retailers.
- Conduct seasonal line reviews and regular business meetings, both in person and virtually.
- Travel throughout the territory to review inventory, identify opportunities,
drive reorders, and improve account productivity.
- Educate retail teams on MPG product, brand positioning, technical features, and key selling stories.
Represent MPG in Market
- Attend trade shows, markets, customer events, conferences, company showroom meetings, and sales meetings across Canada and the United States.
- Act as a knowledgeable and professional brand ambassador in every customer and industry interaction.
- Provide timely market, competitor, channel, and customer insight to the Director of Sales and the broader MPG team.
Work Across the Business
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, New Development, Planning, Customer Service, and Operations to deliver a strong customer experience.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop and execute retail marketing initiatives within the territory.
- Coordinate internal follow-through so commitments, orders, information, and customer needs are handled accurately and on time.
- Work independently while staying closely connected to shared priorities, seasonal milestones, and business goals.
What You Bring
- 3-7+ years of wholesale sales experience, ideally in apparel, activewear, fashion, specialty retail, or a related industry. Strong wholesale experience from another industry will also be considered.
- Demonstrated success opening new accounts and growing existing business.
- A commercially minded approach and comfort working toward sales and revenue targets.
- Working knowledge of retail math, sell-through, reorders, replenishment, and account productivity.
- Solid presentation, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to analyze sales reporting and market information and turn insight into action.
- A self-directed, organized approach with the ability to manage a territory, travel schedule, and competing priorities.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with internal sales, marketing, New Development, planning, customer service, and operations teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and comfort working in sales and business-to-business e-commerce systems.
- A valid driver’s licence,
