Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic, outgoing and creative Early Childhood Educator or ECA to help develop and run engaging programs for children and their care-givers from newborns to children aged 8. This is a hands-on, varied role for someone who loves working with young children and their families, has experience designing and implementing programs and being part of a busy, family focus environment.

Responsibilities include:

Program Development: Design, plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate programs for Parent & tot groups, toddlers, preschool-aged children and after-school programs.

Facilitating our school and camp trips: Develop and facilitate activities, crafts and programming for school trips, day camps, school-break camps and special events.

Drop-In & Play: When programs are not running we are open to the public for Drop-In & Play days. This includes assisting with daily operations, maintaining a secure, clean and organized enviroment.

Birthday Parties: Assist with party preparation and coordination, and host birthday parties on weekends as required.

Cafe Operations: Assist with customer service and sale in our cafe

Guest Services & Admisinstration: Welcome families, respond to inquiries,



and assist with booking and confirming parties, school trips, programs and camps.

Teamwork & Operations: Help maintain the cleanliness, organization and presentation of our play spaces and support the daily operations of Tiny Town Vaughan.

Qualifications and Skills:

- ECE or ECA certification

- Previous experience working with children in a play centred environment is essential

- Experience designing, planning and implementing children's programs is a must.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Outgoing and enthusiastic with the ability to take initiative and work independently.

- Reliable transportation is required.

- Available for weekday shifts is essential; flexibility for occassional evenings and weekend birthday parties is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
