Job Summary

We are looking for a confident legal professional with 5+ years of law firm experience who takes pride in delivering dependable, high-quality support. Whether your background is in litigation, insurance defence, corporate/commercial, real estate, employment, family law, wills & estates, or another related practice area, you will have the opportunity to apply your existing strengths while expanding your knowledge and taking on new challenges

Requirements

· Minimum 5+ years of Legal Assistant experience within a law firm

· Experience supporting lawyers in one or more areas of law, including litigation, insurance defence, corporate/commercial, real estate, employment, family law, or wills & estates

· Litigation and/or insurance defence experience is considered a strong asset

· Legal Assistant or Law Clerk Diploma

· Experience preparing,



formatting, proofreading, serving, and filing legal documents

· Experience managing legal files, correspondence, documentation, and deadlines

· Comfortable coordinating meetings, discoveries, court appearances, appointments, and lawyer calendars

· Knowledge of the Ontario Rules of Civil Procedure is an asset

· Strong Microsoft Office and general legal software skills

· Familiarity with legal billing and administrative procedures

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

· High level of accuracy and attention to detail

· Ability to exercise discretion and maintain strict confidentiality

· Professional, dependable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced legal environment

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
